 Metropolitan Social Incubator – The First Social Incubator in Central and Eastern Europe

The Metropolitan Social Incubator, an innovative initiative by the Metropolitan University of Tirana, aims to identify and support the most talented social entrepreneurs in Albania and the region. This project seeks to create a dynamic environment for social innovation, contributing to economic development and improving community life.

Mission and Vision

Mission: To discover and promote social ideas that can transform into sustainable and successful enterprises, benefiting communities and creating positive impact.

Vision: To become the leading national and regional hub for supporting innovation in social businesses, creating jobs, and promoting regional development.

Launch of the Metropolitan Social Incubator

This project, funded by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), is part of the Metropolitan University of Tirana's commitment to fostering social entrepreneurship.

  • Initial Phase: A six-month implementation period, followed by further developmental stages.

Invitation to Students and Social Entrepreneurs

The Metropolitan Social Incubator welcomes students, youth, and social entrepreneurs to join this community-focused initiative. Participants will benefit from mentoring, networking, and the resources needed to develop their innovative ideas.

This social incubator, the second established by the University Metropolitan Tirana, represents a significant step toward empowering innovation and social entrepreneurship in the region, positioning Albania as a key reference point for this sector in Europe.
